We believe in inclusive football, and encourage all those interested in soccer , who live in Chinchilla and the surrounding districts, to come and develop their love of the game in our friendly and supportive club.

Football Chinchilla has a strong presence in the South West Queensland region as a successful rural club, that is competitive in both the junior and senior competitions. Throughout our age groups there is a strong club culture that allows us to emphasis player development, rather than just 'winning'.

Every season we encourage our players to have fun, show good sportsmanship, work together as a team (on and off the field), have respect for themselves and others, and to work to the best of their ability. If we can help our players achieve these aspects then they will naturally come to develop a passion for soccer that could last them a lifetime, as well as skills that will serve them well outside of the sport.

In the past we have been luck enough to have players pass through our junior ranks who have gone on to play representative football in a number of different competitions, including the South West, Darling Downs and Queensland school teams, Zones and South West Thunder teams, Brisbane Premier League and even a select few who have followed their dreams overseas to play America college soccer.

A number of past players have also gone on to become coaches, referees and administrators within our own club and others.

Joining Football Chinchilla as a player, parent, volunteer or social member is joining a community.

The thing about football…the important thing about football…

is that it is not just about football.
