Kingaroy Sevens wrap-up

Congratulations to the Chinchilla Honeybears for finished third at the Kingaroy Sevens Carnival over the weekend.

The ladies fought hard in their round robin with 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, to make it into the semi finals for the second year in a row.

Unfortunately for the Honeys they were unable to match it with the Sunshine Coast Wanderers Green team and were defeated 4-1 in the semi, although their results over the season allowed them to secure the third place prize.

Both the mens and over 35s teams had mixed results throughout the weekend with a mix of wins, draws and losses, unfortunately not enough to take either them into their respective finals playoffs.

The weekend was, as always, a great club bonding experience.
